Hi, my name is Vicky & I love to help others feel better about themselves. I offer a variety of nurturing & uplifting activities supporting others in their journey to wellbeing & happiness. I have been practising and teaching a fabulous technique called Nia for over 12 years now. I am now much healthier, happier & fitter and so are my students. I also teach dance meditation (called Soulshine Dance) & am trained to be a mindfulness/movement/meditation teacher.
What is the Nia Technique? Nia is a joyful holistic movement practise that blends dance, martial & healing arts (incl. yoga). It combines simple steps (52 moves), expressive freedance & is danced barefoot to soul-stirring music from all around the world. It is adaptable to your uniqueness and level of fitness. It is fun, creative & relaxing. Today, Nia is taught by around 2,200 licensed teachers across 45 countries worldwide.
I own a beautiful wellbeing space called Soulshine in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. I offer inspirational classes, workshops and retreats with a variety of themes. I share other modalities in my sessions – like wellbeing coaching, creative dance, meditation, mindfulness, massage, music/songs (I am a singer/songwriter) and arts/crafts.
There is a peaceful secluded garden, a gorgeous wooden art studio where I offer fun creative workshops and a therapy room which is available to hire. www.soulshine.org.uk
